| QUEEN OF THE HIVE RULES Skaters may register as a team or an individual. Individuals will be placed on a wild card team. Payment options will be setup via PayPal. For registration fees and applicable payment options contact Queenofthehive.com Registration Fee: $20 per participant, including skaters, coaches & bench managers Minimum Participants = 10 skaters per team (not including coach’s or bench managers) Maximum Participants = 15 skaters per team, 1 coach, 1 bench manager This tournament will be a cash prize, non WFTDA sanctioned event. There will be separate brackets used for men and women teams. There will be no co-ed teams. Each bracket will be double elimination. This event will be a flat track roller derby event and will be played under the WFTDA 4.0 rule set. In addition, teams are encouraged to mix skaters from multiple leagues to create one team. All skaters that are WFTDA will be covered with insurance. The following information is required upon registration: · Team Name · Skater Names · Support Staff · Team Color Tournament rules: · Skaters may only register and play for one team. · 2 Alternate/Substitution skaters are allowed per team and substitutions may only occur in between games. · Each bout must begin with a minimum of 10 skating members. If any skater gets injured or has been removed from tournament play the team must use an alternate if one is available. Alternate player must play in at least one jam. · Alternate skaters may not be on the bench during a game they are not actively playing in. · If an injured skater is unable to continue, a team must use a substitute if that team has one available Unlimited substitutions are acceptable. NOTE: If an injured skater is removed from game play they are unable to participate for the remaining of the tournament. · A skater who is expelled from a game is not removed from the tournament unless deemed by the head referee or event coordinator. · Coaches and bench managers are not allowed to compete as skaters within the tournament for another team of the same sex. Example: Female skaters “cannot” coach or manage another team within the female tournament. However, have the option to be a coach or manage for the Male tournament vs. versa. · Coaches and bench managers must register at the same time the team skaters do. In addition, registration fees apply to all. · Teams have the option to bring a referee. Referees will not be an official during their games. Referees may also participate in the tournament with applicable registration fees. However, if Referee is only an official during tournament and not a skater, no fees will apply. |
